The comment towards the end about “Jason X being the first movie to have digital color grading” doesn’t even make sense, given filming ran until May of 2000 for *Jason X*, while *O Brother Where Art Thou* premiered at Cannes in May of 2000.
The Jason X directors in Friday the 13th coffee table book basically said that they wrote a smart script they were proud of, and Sean S. Cunningham got carried away and wrote new pages everyday, and made the movie less meta and quite dumber.
Has anyone ever read the original script? Was it only slightly different from the Jason X we got? Or the Scream of the Friday the 13th franchise?
