Julian Bleach is a phenomenal Davros. So glad to see him back.
I love how much David Tennant loves Doctor Who
I fucking lost it when it stuck me that the plunger was coming. That was great.
Aaaah! So exciting!!
Wait does this mean the genesis Dalek is going to be the next Doctor!
David really hasn’t missed a step playing The Doctor
Question: I stopped watching after 11 because I was done with Moffat but now I am definitely gonna start watching again.
Is it worth watching the 12 and 13’s doctors’ seasons at the very least for overall plot development purposes?
That was both delightful and hilarious!
Watch up through 12 and skip 13 and you will be caught up.
Of course the Daleks name and appearance are ontological paradoxes
I want a claw!
Well, that’s just adorable.
He’s the best.
I’m still stuck in the last season. But man the writing is terrible.
But I’m looking forward to his return for the special
Edit.
For one special.
But this is already going to be a wonderful special for sure
Dropped off awhile ago but considering watching this arc. If the last thing I remember was which ever came last of:
1. The end of Clara’s arc
2. Maisie Williams arc
3. 1st Doctor showing up
Is there anything I need to know to fill the gap?
13th one kind of killed any interest left in the series.
Especially after the timeless child that reads like fanfiction.
Really enjoyed this special. But I will say, I really hate that this is apparently what Davros looks like now because RTD somehow thinks him in a wheelchair is a negative stereotype.
Nothing a good french meal could not resolve, but alas no one thought about it at the time.
As much as I love Tenant, holy shit do I think this is a stupid plot point to show horn him in as 14.
So we go from 13 to 15 in the series and Tenant gets to take a spin as a nonsensical repeat regeneration… ugh.
I still liked the special
Allonz-y!!!
I’ve never seen any Dr Who. Where should I start?
I wonder if Tennant will play this version of The Doctor as a distinct character from 10?
One of the things I loved about how he played 10 was he was the friendly veneer over a core of absolute manic batshit insanity! If villains, or even the cold unfeeling universe kept poking him the crazy/cruelty would come out. Its like the quote from the Family Of Blood episodes(paraphrased)
*The Doctor wasn’t hiding out of fear, he was hiding out of mercy*
