Ya, playing through dead space 1 this past weekend. Saw no reason for a remake, it holds up really well. Did need a mouse mod for pc but otherwise it’s really amazing. I’m surprised I took so long to play it.
I guess it is a great game that people on consoles can’t play unless they have an Xbox or use an old console. I’m not sure how I feel about this type of remake. It’s weird, they could’ve made a new one or a whole new IP, although that may have costed more money

Q1 2023 is going to be fucking rad. So pumped for this *and* Atomic Heart dropping in Feb. Take my money and time.
Uugh just looks like dead space. Soooo boring, gosh, linear levels with jump scares that aren’t scary. Fucking A, uugh. /s
Its New gameplay ? Chapter 1 specifically where they First get inside the ship ? 35 minutes left for me, i cant wait to see It!
Im not really hyped because
1. Ive played DS1 this year – it still holds up well, didnt have any problems with it
2. I have no money to buy it, those new games w/o any regional pricing are way too much to afford them
I’m just happy we’re getting new Dead Space and I hope we can get a great Dead Space 4 later.
Am I the only one who really wishes they updated the way that the necromorphs actually behave? I was hoping to see them work a little more dynamically— the animations look largely unchanged.

Glad it’s getting closer to release but I have zero interest in watching someone else play it. I can wait.
It’s all remakes I’m hyped for so far next year. Silent hill 2. Dead space and resident evil 4. Easily all games in my top 10.
Just hope they dont shit on the source material.
