A little slow to get the blood pumping, the end also fell flat, but it nailed everything else.
Great game. I loved it.
posts like these lol……smh………
That game is way too long for its own good, wish it were more about dealing with the xeno and less a dull flip-switching sim
It has fantastic visuals, art direction and atmosphere. It overstays its welcome midway through the game . It also sold not as well as expected. Hence why no sequel.
I would not call it masterpiece. Its a 7/10 game , maybe 8/10 if im in a good mood at best .
This game doesn’t need a sequel in my opinion
Great game!
No its not.
Not every game needs a sequel.. its fine to be great and alone.
This game in VR, along with Subnautica, are the two most terrifying games I have ever played. Actual fear.
How would you innovate the formula enough that a sequel is worth it?
With the way Creative Assembly is going, doubt it will happen.
It does have a sequel….just not a very good one. It’s a mobile game if that tells you anything.
I will not play this game in VR again!
This game slapped
Not happening with creative assembly the way they are now
A sequel will never happen.
I was reading about this some time ago, turns out no one knows who has the right to the video game. This IP is split between like 6 companies, a few of which that have gone bankrupt.
To make a sequel would be to hunt down all the possible rights holders and buy the rights from them which would be expensive as the Alien IP in general is still gold.
Yeah but the second part of the Game was already too drawn out. I just think they had no other idea except do it again. What would you do? Ripley alone on a Space-Station/Ship …AGAIN?
I tried playing it today, uhg I hate scary games. I really want to play this but I hate..HATE jump scares. I got the game free on epic games a few years ago.
One day I’ll play it all the way through.
I’m still too much of a pussy to play this game.
One of my favorite movie universes. Enjoyed the game. I wish there were more parts.😥
Never finished it. Found the alien AI to be bullshit. Especially on the harder difficulties. Went from terrified to simply just frustrated.
Masterpiece. A game you’ll remember forever if you play and finish it.
The fact that I’ve had this in my library for probably like 8 years and haven’t play it is probably also criminal.
We did. It’s called the film Aliens
A true masterpiece does not need a sequel. The Last of Us is a perfect example of this.
Nah. One and done.
Some games don’t need sequels. They do make one and then you’re disappointed it didn’t live up to expectations.
Needs a remaster more than a sequel honestly, the actual in game graphics still look great but the cutscenes look rough by today’s standards. Have the people who did the Halo 2 remaster to update the cutscenes and juice up the in game graphics with some raytracing or something and this game will look good forever. Bonus points for maybe a NG+ mode where they have randomly generated map layouts to increase replayability, the game already seems likes it’s built from tilesets that can be swapped around anyway.
Why?? You know the sequel would suck ass in comparison anyway, cause why have the sequel when you can have the prequel? The prequel is unequal!
Omg I can’t stop playing this over and over. Pure artistry. More!!!!!!!!
it is absolutely criminal. the art team for that game absolutely nailed every visual aspect of the films.
