>Vengeance meets his equal.⌚️ Denzel Washington is back as Robert McCall in the final chapter of The Equalizer. #TheEqualizer3, exclusively in movie theaters this Fall.
>Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.
The first one came out around John Wick and never got the same amount of love, wrongfully so. These movies are just as fantastic as John Wick and boy am I glad I get to see Denzel kick some ass one last time.
Never really liked his character in these movies. Mostly because its just a blander, slower, less vicious, less stylized version of his John Creasy character in Man on Fire.
The whole “time himself with the watch” just makes him look like a smug a-hole, and if he didn’t do that he’s be a completely generic character.
But, I know that these movies are just simple popcorn movies, in the vein of Taken. And you can’t really expect too much from an over-60 (almost 70!) Denzel.
Its just a damn shame he couldn’t find a way to continue his Easy Rawlins character from Devil In a Blue Dress and make more movies. Even now, he and Don Cheadle would be perfect for an additional story that occurs years later after the events of the first movie.
I don´t like when the main character is basically invincible and fights the villains as if they were a mere nuisance.
Here they repeat the same formula. But I would rather like what we saw in MAN OF FIRE, which is basically the same (in both movies, Denzel plays an ex CIA agent who worked as a hitman for the goverment). In MOF, although he is a killing a machine, he is still vulnerable.
I don’t consider myself being pro-violence, but I *really* wouldn’t mind some real-life protagonists such as the equalizer here. That would definitely help solve a whole bunch of suffering.
Looking forward to this. It’s an underated series, where I’m probably in the minority where I think I prefer the sequel to the first. I just love how easy he kicks their ass
If I had a dollar for every time the trailer shows a shot of black screen opening on Denzel face I would have 2 dollars, which is not a lot but it’s still kind of weird it happened twice.
This is one movie I’m eagerly awaiting. I’m not watching the trailer, will directly watch the movie in theater. Now a days most of the story is revealed in the trailer, I don’t like that trend.
Man on fire is my favourite Denzel movie, excited for the pita and creasy reunion.

Looks awesome! I love the Equalizer series.
Can’t wait !!!!!

Fuckin’ hell, that 9 second fate decition was brutal.
Dakota Fanning was in Man on Fire with Denzel as well. Interesting reunion there.
Really looking forward to this! Loved the first one, but the 2nd was pretty forgettable. Hopefully this one is more like the first.
These movies aren’t nourishing, but they are fun, so I’m up for one more.
I wish they hadn’t shown the scene where he takes the guy’s revolver. That would’ve been sweet to see for the first time in the movie.
We really need a John Wick / Equalizer crossover

The sequel was pretty meh,i hope this one doesn’t disappoint
Creasy and Pita reunion. It’s funny, when Dakota popped up on screen I immediately mixed up the Equalizer films with Man of Fire.

Who would win a fight, John Wick or Robert McCall?
Shame its the last one, but when all 3 are this good, good to end on a high. Stoked for this!
The trailer was a bit too long.
What’s with the ugly filter crap? Is it trying to hide how badly this was filmed?
This was one of the worst edited trailers I’ve ever seen.
Denzel moved like Taken 3 Liam Neeson in the last movie so I can’t imagine he’ll be any more limber in this…. but I’ll probably watch it on streaming.
im so hype for this
Critics were so/so on the first two, let’s see what this one delivers.
Damn, and here I thought E3 2023 was cancelled.
Denzel. My man
This looks like a lot of fun. And I don’t believe for a second that this is the last of the series. The Equalizer doesn’t just stop equalizing.
This looks good. Cautiously optimistic as 2 wasn’t near as good as 1.

My favorite genre of movie is everyday people that turn out to be complete badasses that no one expects.
Wick, Reacher, McCall, Hutch…all good!
