Damn, what a great play! Love listening to the crowd reaction get bigger and bigger as it goes too.
That’s the perk of being last in the league.
You can run lots of trick plays and have no consequences if they fail.
Shoutout to that dude wearing a fused together Green Bay and Detroit Lions sweatshirt
This clip is 50 seconds long, surely they’ll show another angle or a slow motion shot.
Nope.

The timing on that flea-flicker was beautiful. The lateral to Tom Kennedy (#85) came at the perfect moment to distract the Packers’ secondary as Kalif Raymond (#11) slipped behind them.
Definition of hitting a receiver in stride.
As said Detroit is the best “bad team” in tge league. Seems with minor things they could be 11-6
They just ran another trick play
I love the spirit the Lions have
I love Kevin Burkhartd. Dude is electric!
Fantastic play design
Mfw it says 7-7 at the bottom but they haven’t scored yet 🧐🧐🧐
They really don’t want that first draft pick
GB lineman literally turning around in a circle having no idea where the ball is. Not that I did the first time that I watched either. What an amazingly executed play.
Tim Allen had to change his shorts after this.
As a British rugby fan I love seeing more dynamic plays like this with some interesting running lines/passes in the NFL. Wish there was more of it!
Holding, offense #76. 10 yard penalty, repeat 1st down.
Was one of the players called Amun-Ra, like the Egyptian Sun God?
[the Broncos tried something similar against the Chargers last week](https://www.chargers.com/video/bosa-adderlery-chargers-turnover-downs-broncos-week-17-2021)
Does that mean that Detroit is finally good?
The Lions had 3 wins this year and two of them were against the top 2 teams in the NFL. Life as a Lions fan has always been.. weird.
Props to Greg Olsen for actually correctly identifying this as a reverse.
Dan Campbell brought his team to win today. Number 1 pick be damned. I love it.
Green Bay CB #29 was able to diagnose the play as soon as the snap was made. Unfortunately, he was on the other side of the field. He was screaming and pointing at Raymond who was running free on the other side. He didn’t have enough time to catch up but had that play happen on his side, it wouldn’t be a TD.
The guy who threw the pass, Tom Kennedy, played professional lacrosse before getting signed by the Detroit Lions.
As someone who doesn’t watch NFL, why isn’t this more common?
Lions just having fun out there! Love seeing this
This play is always confusing to me because I’ve seen it called both ways. Is a forward hand off eligible to throw?
That was a *great* throw.
I don’t follow sports at all, but I know that if football had way more plays like that, I might actually be interested enough to watch a game once a season.
Shoutout to Tom Kennedy. I think these are the first points scored in any of the big 4 sports by a Bryant University grad.
Lifelong Lions fan here. At this point I’m pretty sure the purpose of the Lions is to be an agent of chaos. We’re not here to win, we’re here to fuck shit up for the rest of the league lol.
I don’t know why there isn’t more of this kind of thing. I understand that turnovers are more likely the more the ball is passed around but you’d think that a team that started to specialize in stuff like this would dominate
This clip perfectly demonstrates how fucking annoying it is that the NFL still broadcasts games with a zoomed-in view that leaves you unable to watch all the players on the field.
It isn’t 1965. People aren’t watching games on 19 inch CRTs. Pull the fucking camera back.

This is where I miss Madden’s commentary.
