Man this was peak WWF, I was 22 years old and life was awesome. Pre-smart phone and big internet. Back when looking for hints on video games meant buying the walk through book, having to call your friends through land lines and using three way calling and call waiting to get everyone to meet up and watch this shit together. God damn those was good times.

Kurt Angle was such a good heal. I was a pretty strait laced kid. Was always strangely proud of my work ethic since I could remember. Wanted to do the “right thing”. I fucking HATED Angle the minute I watched him walk towards the ring. His goodie goodie, better than you, hard work persona. On top of that, he really was a legit world class wrestler who could suplex a three hundred pound man ten straight times and barely break a sweat. He was so damn good at wrestling and it made me hate him even more. The coward truly hated Angle. He was actually a bit of a dirtbag in real life. Maybe it was his substance issue and CTE:

It’s dumb that people frown upon this. It’s like saying a tv show is bad because it depicts a villain. They didn’t hide what he was and the crowd decided whether he was a face or a heel. I think they should bring back a character like this and take the heat for a heel. Maybe even have them wrestle a woman who takes offense to it and beat them up.
