I love the show but I have a spoiler about a major character…..
For anyone who hasn’t seen it, there’s a great movie called The Queen with Helen Mirren that focuses on the death of Princess Diana and the Queen’s lack of response and how the prime minister had to step in to force her to say something. It’s an excellent film by Peter Morgan, the writer/creator of The Crown.
I thought we shamed them into not doing this “Part One” bullshit any longer, why is it coming back again? At least it will probably be easier to avoid the memes and discussions until the second half is available than it was with Stranger Things and The Witcher.
It’s turned into the Diana Show a little too much for me. I hope other events get to take centre stage for the final season too.
Looks absolutely amazing. Beautifully tragic.
I’m glad they’re not holding back on depicting the paparazzi. It was truly unhinged.
I can’t watch it. I lived through the horror of the real thing. No thanks.
Here is the plot. They go hunting, they go to balls, they sit around drinking, they fret and flurry about every little tiny bit of gossip about them and they do all this up and down the United Kingdom in their castles. Oh and if Diana wore a seat belt she’d still be alive.
I wish they’d just hurry up and get to the stuff that hasn’t happened yet. That’s what I’m most interested in learning about.
Do you think they’re going to incorporate the recent revelations about the reporter behind the Diana interview forging documents to convince her to do the story? And how it was a factor in her death?
