He has to donate the funds immediately to a reputable charity as well as probably some of his own money to cover admin to save any part of his credibility now. Actively promoting your charity when you have full knowledge you have not made any contributions whilst saying your a key donor to your cause is incredibly scummy behaviour and he’s at best been completely ignorant as a president of a charity and is paying the price for it or has maliciously tried to build up funds for whatever reason and hope no one noticed.
Oh well I’ll mark another YouTubers reputation as in tatters again.

There seems to be no good reason why the money is still there. At best, this is near criminal negligence, at worst, there is the heavy implication that he’s using the funds to pay his family as “Business Expenses”. It makes me wonder if the money is even there, though that’s impossible to know without an audit of some sort.
As an occasional listener to the Friends Per Second podcast, I’m curious if they’ll ever address this, quietly remove him, or just act like nothing happened.
The plus side of all this is that they haven’t spent the money on personal things, but is terrible nonetheless.
Shouldn’t the places they say they’ve been giving the money to have spoken up by now? I can’t see the University of California being completely unaware that a guy is claiming to be a major contributor when they haven’t seen a cent.
I like how part of their reply was “do you have any suggestions for who we could donate this money to?”
Gee, i dunno fuckface. Howabout the organizations you’ve been claiming to donate to for the last 10 years? Maybe start there?
This is the second worst thing this guy has done *after* not having done a completionist video for RDR2.

He says the money is still there but is there any confirmation? These are clearly just self reported tax returns. By the way he’s lying and shifting blame in his explanation, I’m willing to bet he’s spent a chunk of it and is going to try and find some organization that will accept whatever donation he has without publicly disclosing the amount and just hope it all blows over.
The worst part is because the money has been sitting in an account for ten years it’s actually gone down in value.
