The Chiefs’ go ahead touchdown is negated by Kadarius Toney being offsides.

It’s been called 11 other times this year. It’s not like this is a judgement call. He’s so offside you can’t see the ball.
He was definitely lined up offsides, it’s clear as day, but I’m still confused why this wouldn’t be a dead ball foul, like a false start. Why let the play continue? The refs knew it was a dead play.
When I watched it live I was like “wtf is Kelce doing?” The end result was awesome. But that’s 100% a neutral zone infraction.
How can you be that dumb? His foot is literally on the hash mark ahead of the ball. So stupid.
Not only is he way offside, he’s actually staring at the ball!! He’s gotta know that, right?!
say this doesn’t get called…..do i get fantasy points for a lateral with Kelce?
How is mahomes mad at the refs for this? They can’t “uncall” it once the play unfolds. It was a clear infraction – he wants them to ignore it after the fact somehow?
From hero to goat in no time at all. Fundamentals, people!
Can’t believe Kelce won’t get in the Hall of Fame now 🙁
Well, dont be offsides
Did Toney ever point at the referee to get the thumbs up? I just missed this but I know WR usually do that.
I’d bet Andy Reid designed that play for Kelce to lateral it, now they showed it for nothing
That play by Kelce was filthy.
Lol bro was a mile offsides
Honestly Kelce throwing the ball is an incredibly stupid play. Why would you take that risk with 1 minute left down by a field goal? Its dope it wouldve worked if not offsides but the risk is so much not worth the reward in this situation
Cry harder patrick
I don’t watch a lot of football but why don’t the refs just whistle it down right away?
Stupid that the play isn’t blown dead at the start
Mahomes and Andy Reid are crying about their team needing to play by the rules! They got away with multiple BS no calls against Minnesota. What goes around comes around….
An amazing play. I think Patrick was upset by the inconsistency of the refereeing.Von Miller was offsides and nothing was called. Humans are allowed to be upset.
He’s upset at the wrong guy. Kadarius Toney is to blame. You’re a professional player and besides all the passes he’s dropped, he can’t even figure out where to stand before the snap.
Absolutely pathetic.
I’ll bet he wishes he (but really Kadarius) discount double checked before the snap.
Reid and Mahomes completely threw the officials under the bus in their post-game pressers. Reid said that the officials usually give a warning, and if that is true there is *some* merit to his complaint, but at the end of the day, its up to the players to make sure they are not lined up offsides. Mahomes just complained that the officials “took away greatness”. What?
This wasn’t a blown call, they had more chances to score, and this is only a regular season game. Why are they choosing to die on this hill that probably no one outside of KC’s fanbase agrees with?
He is very much offsides. I’m sure other plays went their way in the game too. Can’t win em all.
Embarrassing post-game presser from Pat
I mean it was a beautiful play other than the blatant offsides. The one note I’d give the refs is they usually give a heads up when a player is in the neutral zone, which I prefer to pulling the flag after the fact.
That was hard to watch that guy is going to think about that for the rest of his life
Andy Reid saying that it should have only been a “warning” told to the coach after the play, is one big pile of BS.
“Hey, coach, your guy was offside, but no worries, here is a fix-it ticket, and please ask him to stay behind the ball. Thanks coach.”
Bruh, you off sides
It’s an all-time great play by Kelce, except that the guy he threw it to apparently has the depth perception to recognize a backwards pass but not to recognize that he’s a full foot into the neutral zone.
I’m confused why this wouldn’t be blown dead?
A pre-snap infraction by the offense results in immediate stop of the play no?
Mahomes should blame himself for playing poorly. The refs were doing their jobs
That was offsides, let’s just not debate that. Now I’m trying to understand why the refs didn’t call the play dead after the snap. Why allow the players to risk injury or the offense to show their hand after an offensive offsides.
I’m more disturbed that Reid acknowledged that he “usually gets a warning” before calling a penalty for this. Very telling.
I’ve seen numerous teams have this called on them and I’m sure they didn’t “get a warning.”
Outside of the way Mahomes has been reacting to this, I think the most frustrating part of this play is that Toney actually caught that perfectly lol.
People acting like mahomes really blames the refs for this, he 1000% knows this is on Toney. But he’s a leader who doesn’t want to shit on his own team, so he’s projecting and screaming at the refs because that’s better than doing it at Toney.
