It sucks that some folks are so entitled.
Tow his ass
[removed]
Keys have multiple purposes. We won’t tell
I’d purposely carry a mobile printer to print them a little picture of this and stick it to their windscreen!
Edited to add: after you’ve scratched the fuck out of their car with the wheelchair!
I hate people like this. One of them is my father.
And no, I don’t to him for this and other reasons.
That gets on my nerves
I see you removed the text on the photo lol
What tow truck driver doesn’t foam at the mouth for this particular job?
[It’s called the Access Aisle](https://youtu.be/4OdtFyA-irc?si=Ud34jzyVDDLnEDm3)
That’d be a $350 fine in Denver.
You should get a Polaroid camera and take a pic of that every time it happens and leave it on their car. Maybe it will guilt them into not doing it again, probably not bmw owners tho… Also a pic of everything including their license plate number to be sent to the police or whoever can get them a ticket! This is infuriating, sorry it happened to you guys.
Look like it’s time to support your local tow truck business!
You should have reposted the original image from 5 years ago. Much higher quality.
have it tow…this isn’t excusable
Dude wasn’t supposed to take the asshole song literally
That’s why enforcement of the ADA and good municipal specifications are absolutely necessary. The boarding area for disabled bays should have bollards placed to stop people doing exactly this. Sorry 🙁
That car blocking the ramp should be seized for 60 days
In Austin you can be part of the volunteer force who’s sole responsibility is to ticket handicap violations like this. It’s the most rewarding community help you can do.
My wheelchair has a couple of sharp corners, when that happens I make sure to “use” those corners to get myself into my van. Once a guy came out and started yelling at me scratching his car, I calmly told him to call the police. He did and ended up with a ticket and a scratched door.
This happens ALL THE FUCKING TIME in South Carolina. My wife and I think it’s a secret sport to block the wheelchair ramps.
Source: my wife is in a wheelchair and we deal with this on a constant basis. It happens so much that we stopped taking pictures…
I could live a hundred lifetimes and still never understand how anyone can be this dumb and out of touch. I spend so much time thinking about my actions and how they might affect other people while people like this exist who clearly don’t think about anyone other than themselves.
So many people are unworthy of living in civilized society.
I used to work at a center for adults with developmental disabilities and I occasionally drove a wheelchair van. One day I took three clients in wheelchairs to an outing by myself (thanks dismal nonprofit staffing) and parked in a handicapped van spot with a large area of blue slashes next to it. We unloaded, went on our outing, came back, and there was a vehicle parked right next to us on the slashes. I ended up having to leave my clients on the sidewalk alone while I went and moved the van so they could use the ramp.
I don’t work there anymore but I teach my kids about this so they’ll never be that person. My youngest is 7 and whenever he sees a car parked on the blue slashes he screeches, “ILLEGAL!!”
Scraaaaatch
I think the chair can fit through there. It may drag along their paint in the process, but I assume they parked there because they’re ok with it.
This has happened to me many times. If you do this FUCK YOU I will do my best to scratch your car. Fucken Pricks!
