Just make sure you get the QoL patches that you’d get with the Steam builds. The games really hold up to time with those patches. I finished Fallout 1 a few weeks ago and it was excellent. Super easy to play and I only needed a guide a couple times and I’m an idiot.
Oh man I remember getting the Jewel case version of Fallout 1 and 2 for cheap at a Mediaplay store and diving into the game knowing Nothing about it! What an experience.
If you like old fallout games I would suggest Fallout 1.5: Resurrection:
>Fallout 1.5: Resurrection is a new, old-school Fallout. It’s a modification for Fallout 2 with a completely new story taking place in the Fallout universe. The plot is set in the time between Fallout 1 and 2, east of the future NCR in New Mexico. That means you won’t visit the original places. Instead, you’ll discover entirely new, creative locations that allowed us to have more freedom with the story.
You can download it for free – they can’t charge money for it. Just google: “fallout 1.5”.
Aw man! You could’ve angled the case in such a way that the reflection from the light hits the light on the helmet
So it looks like the light on the helmet is on
Nice. I have one around here somewhere still I swear lol.
Great games!
The reason I don’t like the new games

Yeah that’s a good ass time to be had, those games are incredible.
You’ll get at least $15 dollars of entertainment out of those.
Tactics got a lot of criticism but I loved it. OP if you’re a fan of these I highly suggest you check out the Wasteland games
TFW you got it free from GoG.

1 and 2 are absolutely timeless.
Let’s forget Tactics exists.
Boy they were reaching real far to make a trilogy box throwing tactics in it.
Totally worth it,my favorite rpg game.
I was just downloading fallout 2 yesterday. Probably my favorite out of the whole series
Why was Kalypso the publisher of this?
I love how you’re willing to admit that you still have a DVD drive on your PC.
Huge deal!
Is +16 considered MA or is that a different rating?
I recall when I first got to play these in 05, story so good I have a hard time agreeing that new vegas is the best fallout

Eh, terraria on sale is probably a better deal.

All i want in life is for this to come to switch
Tactics is an incredibly Underrated game. It’s a spin-off, and it’s got some flaws, but goddamn is it fun.
The Temple of Trials from 2 was the worst though.
I actually beat Tactics with one character, was frustrating in some missions.
Fallout 2 remains my favorite Fallout. A shame the temple opening can be a barrier of entry for some.
