It’s not that season 1 is bad but I’ve been working on it for a few months now and I might as well binge the last few episodes. I like the stark look at kitchen life in Chicago
I binged the entire 1st season in 1 day last year and loved it. Been a fan of Jeremy Allen White since watching him grow up on Shameless. He’s such a talented actor with great range and how he’s able to express emotions and makes you really believe he’s going through something. He’s great with heavy subject matter and he has good comedic timing too. He’s extremely good at showing vulnerability and rage. I liked watching the kitchen crew interacting with each other and I also appreciated the lack of sex scenes and no unnecessary romantic drama. Not every show needs those aspects in order to tell a good story. Looking forward to season 2.
This show was never on my radar, I don’t even know how I found out about it. Decided to watch it for the fun of it and gosh I’m glad I did. It turned out to be one of the best shows of 2022.. I still remember that single take scene and all that anxiety I used to have while watching it cause I’ve worked in a kitchen and they absolutely NAILED that aspect.. Can’t wait for season 2, show turned out to be a gem!
JAW is a modern day Brando and killed it of course but I think newcomer Ayo Edebiri absolutely stole the show. A phenomenal performance and some of the most natural real-feeling acting I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait for S2.
BUT. One personal complaint in the midst of all the awesomeness …
I hope they expand on Sydney’s and Marcus’ behaviour from last season. Because as much as I liked their characters, at the end I was really pissed at how some things were glossed over. (Even tho I agree that Carmy had issues as well. At least he faced them and worked through)
Before watching the first season everyone kept saying how stress inducing the show is but I found it just a tight watch, even relaxing when it hit its few slower points. Binged in a weekend.
Just here to read about how much anxiety and stress “that episode” gave people. Every time I see something about The Bear on reddit it’s always the same comments.
I’m a little conflicted because I don’t think this show needed a season 2 at all, but I loved it and don’t mind watching more. It told a tight story with an open ended ending that had people discussing what actually happened, why it happened, etc. Season 2 is going to remove all mystery and I’m skeptical they can keep that intense pace going for another season without it getting old.
Is this really only going to be on Hulu? I have it as part of the Disney bundle, but not broadcasting this in FX for cable viewers seems like it’s really limiting the reach of one of their breakout shows from last year.
Can’t wait. Easily my second favorite show from 2022. (Severance held on to the top spot)
I cant wat to watch it.
Extremely excited. But little early for a teaser? 😂
Thank you chef
Best new show last year, in my opinion. Can’t wait to have it back!
Yes chef

COUSIN!
We were treated to the most surprisingly good TV show of 2022. Really looking forward to this 2nd season!
My body (and my palate) is ready.

Is there a release date attached?
The Beef is closed? Or is that just marketing. The entire point of the season 1 was to keep the place open, lol.
June, assuming 2023.
Awesomeness. Worth the wait.
I need to rewatch season 1. I binged it too hard.
I have almost never seen a show paint a city as endearingly as The Bear does Chicago. I can’t wait.

this was the biggest surprise in tv show history. everyone there deserves an oscar.
Can’t wait! Glad it will be coming out before my one-year subscription is up!
This is great. Such a good show.

I’m SO ready to be stressed out and enjoying it again

Weird teaser… the last episode ended with them finding hundreds of thousands of dollars..and then the teaser is them closing down?
If its not for renovations, it dont make no sense.

Love the show and ready for S2! Bring to on, Yes Chef!

Excited. Hope the mafia/money laundering/ or whatever the hell theory doesn’t overshadow the drama in the kitchen.
***HANDS!***
Heard
can’t wait for this!
I was at a Chicago famous pizza place a few weeks ago and they were actually filming a scene there so I’m really excited to see what comes of that
