One of the greatest bands of all time.
Levon helm is so great!
Their appearance on SCTV is fantastic!
These guys had such a unique sound. One of the best groups of all time. Both of my son’s love their music which admittedly makes me happy that their sound can endure.
Rick Danko in this era is a dead ringer for Pedro Pascal. Also, this is one of my favorite bands of all timeš¤š».
Why “The Band” posts all of a sudden? Did someone die?
That look from Garth at 1:30 is amazing.
Loved loved loved Levonās voice.
Three great singers in Manuel, Danko and Helm.
Lake Charles is home.
Wish I could upvote this 1000 times
Seriously how the FUCK do people sing and play the drums at the same time?
Great Tune.
I was friends with the lead guitaristās sonā¦he bought a $13K pinky ring at Barneyās on a whim and then lost it two days later. True story. I was there for it. š¤Æ
I wish the producers of the show had bothered to learn their name before putting it up on the screen
Funny how square Ed Sullivan appears but still had THE music acts of the time.
Was Pedro Pascal’s dad in that band? When you see it….
I hate it when they film a performance but only show close ups of their faces. I can barely tell whoās playing what.
RIP, Levon. What a class act.
Pedro Pascal is older than I thought and he was a member of The Band?
I would definitely consider myself a Taylor Fan. She has wrote some great songs. Not sure why the Reddit thread would compare the Great Robbie Robertson to her though
Horrible
Such a damn classic
Which band?
Levon MADE The Band. Heās the drummer/vocalist. That Arkansas accent sounds so so REAL.
My favorite Band, the band.
