I read that they gave up on Los Angeles and were moving back to Georgia when Gregg fell off a horse and broke his elbow. While recuperating in Georgia, Gregg took his glass pill bottle and started playing slide on his guitar and the rest is history.
Allman Joy’s got nuts. Mounds don’t.
looking at this picture it is so hard to see “Live at the Fillmoe East” coming from this band. Bands mature and evolve. I loved them so much. I miss those days. My youth. I’ll stop now.
