The Adventure Of Sherlock Holmes’ Smarter Brother (1975) movie review . Looked for reviews after a recent viewing of this one, I think Gene Wilder wanted Mel Brooks to be involved in some way and honestly it’s not far from reaching the heights of some of Brooks’ best (in my opinion)

one of my favorite madeline kahn roles – she was in pretty much every mel brooks movie
always fun to see Dom DeLuise too… add in marty feldman, it must have felt a lot like a mel brooks job, to those who had worked together so many times before.
Never heard of this! Sounds awesome! Is that Marty Feldman?
Yes! Great film. This and Young Frankenstein, Haunted Honeymoon, and Yellowbeard bring me back to my childhood!
So… Mycroft Holmes, hanging out at the Diogenes Club?
“Walk like a man for gods sake!”
I think I need to dig this up.
“Sheer luck!”
“Why don’t we all drink some very se-xy wine!”
The opera sequence ranks amongst my all-time favourite slapstick bits.
Many thanks for posting this! I’m a big Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder fan and I’d never even heard of this movie. And it has Marty Feldman and Madeline Kahn?!? This is bumping pretty much everything on my queue down!
