Be aware that the Nintendo switch power supply (and 3DS for that matter, for those who also need to know) is NOT multi-voltage. You cannot just pop the power supply into a pin adapter and plug it into 240v like you can most power supplies (like laptop bricks).
If you wanna use your dock, you’re going to have to get a localized power supply. You can stick to using any good quality type C charger to charge it portably. Don’t stick your 110v Japan/America charger into a 240v outlet for any reason, it will let out the magic blue smoke that makes electronics work. Edit: decided to double check to make sure I was correct, and [I wasn’t…](https://i.imgur.com/7nOq6ns.jpg) at least for my power supply.
It’s still good practice to check the input power specification on a power supply to ensure it will function correctly in the country you’re visiting. Both the voltage and frequency need to match.
I am sure about the 3DS though. I was going to let my sister take mine to China, then I noticed that the power input was [120V 60Hz only](https://i.imgur.com/H0dHivn.jpg). This is why it’s important to check the label.
