I think about it all the time. So I will tell you the most ridiculous story which is tangentially related to this.
My wife is averse to change. She resists new technology. So for years I had been mentioning that we ought to try a robot vacuum. She naturally resisted saying they were too expensive.
One day I saw a deal on a well reviewed one for about $200. So I bought it without telling her. I hid the base station under a couch and programmed it to run between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
I was still worried she might find it so I put a note on the top of it with the Minsky cartoon and the caption “I can help”
Well she never found it. One day she commented that there was far less dust around the house, and that is when I let her know and showed her the rob-vac. She was sold, and henceforth we referred to the vacuum as “Minsky”
We are now on Minsky 3, and each one has had an image of Minsky taped to the top.
Since the latest vacuum is far far more advanced than the original one I used Midjourney to update the Minsky image.
