I remember when the first Captain America came out. Outside of the States it got a subtitle “the first Avenger” because they didn’t think non-Americans would watch a movie called Captain America because it’s a title that’s so strongly connected to a country that isn’t their own
So like, how do they think a movie called Thanksgiving is gonna play outside America? Considering nowhere else celebrates it
