It’s definitely a great game, there are only like 3 maybe 4 developers that do open worlds really well… I think most open world games I feel like are a bit more of a waste, especially ubisoft games which are activity sandboxes with… lot of trivial repeatable tasks. Take over generic bases, find generic towers, find collectables… rinse repeat.
I think, M$ buying them out was probably the best thing that could happen. They’ve definitely used their tools for content creation and probably faster iterating and adding and the technical side is always a shitshow. It happens to most big games that aren’t anemic sandboxes. Getting more technical help has definitely improved the release here.
