This is in West Texas, not to be confused with West, Texas. Which is in central Texas.
I enjoy when photos look like paintings and paintings look like photos.

> Okay, i wasn’t really expecting this to blow up. [Face with tears of joy] I took this last night between Earth, Texas and Littlefield, Texas! We were between the sunset & the storm, so that cast an amazing light on the storm. Pls don’t steal it [Upside-down faceFace with tears of joy]

Explosion of color in the clouds
It looks like an elden ring skybox. Great picture
Reminds me of the Erdtree
The erd tree!
Erdtree storm apparently
Reminds me of the time we were driving waaaay out there west of Midland, TX when we were driving alongside one of these in the distance. Taking pics and commenting on it nonstop for a half hour when the weather quickly took a turn, and a tornado formed in the field ahead of us. As we got to the side of it the car was being pushed. Decided to just go, since we were on a barren straight highway in an endless field, and it’s the only time I’ve ever pushed the pedal to the floor.
ominously pretty
Amazing photo.
Cthulhu does not look happy
Where are the weather folks to tell me what specifically im lookin at
So awesome nature scenery.
I love west Texas thunderstorms!! Nothing else quite like them. Those cloud heads building over the flat-as-fuck plains before releasing Mother Nature’s beautiful and terrifying torrent.
Then it can all clear up in minutes as the wind blows it away.
i refuse to believe this hasnt been egregiously edited
It looks like the mayor of flavortown has ascended.
r/natureisfuckinglit
I’ve driven Hwy 60 between Canyon and Clovis,NM a lot on the way to Roswell. Never seen anything like this though.
Could be near the west Texas town of El Paso
This makes me think of the storm Imogen dreams about in Critical Role Campaign 3
Praise the Erdtree!
looks like independence day when the alien ships enter the atmosphere
This is some Stormlight Archive shit.
Colourised by who..
All hail west Texas
This looks just like the one that formed over my town in Northern California! [Here’s a photo.](https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/nfnqkj/this_storm_overhead_my_home_town_in_california/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Jesus, I need a print of this. 9ft tall by 18ft, please
I remember my days living in West Tx (Sweet Eileen in Abilene). It’s tornado season. I saw in the weather report about a storm system the stretches from texas to michigan. When I went outside, I saw, in the horizon, clouds forming. I drove towards it. As I get closer, I saw the clouds churning horizontally. Seeing that, I realized how MASSIVE the storm is. On TV, the storm system is just the green clouds on the screen, then thinking that the tail of this system is in Michigan. Then it hailed, I dented my car. Luckily my windshield didn’t break.
