People always complain about this ending but I do like it. I think it shows that sometimes we have what we really desire in front of us. But that’s just my opinion.
It’s not that the ending sucks so much as the last season is too drawn out. Watch everything up to the last season and watch a 10 minute YouTube video about the last season/episode. Totally worth it for the first 7 seasons of gold.
Let’s praise the set up and editing of the scene. The first crowd shot is pretty wide, so her shaking her head is very subtle; in fact you might not even catch it. But then you see Ted very deliberately look back at a particular person to check for approval, and the next time you see the crowd, it is slightly zoomed in. We know to be watching for her at that point, but they kept the other faces pretty still. The more I watch this the more I see how big of a difference it made to zoom in *just a bit.*
This scene is so real.. i can litteraly feel me being Ted in this moment. I AM happy to have experienced this fear in the show before in my actual life
I still love this show, and I know everyone is upset about the last season and the final episode. But HIMYM will always hold a place in my heart. Cristin Milioti’s version of “La Vie en rose” in the final season made my wife cry so hard that we wound up using it as the song she walked down the aisle to in our wedding.
I still watch the show all the time on hulu.
What show is this lmao
Cham-Ah-Leon
I can’t muster the bother to watch this show because there are so many episodes and I know that the ending is historically bad.

God, this show was so good until they tossed all the character development out the window for a terrible ending
Yes the ending is trash. But I still watch the show sans the last episode or two.
The girl nodding at the end gets me everytime.
Whats this from?
Great show.

As bad as the show got, this is one of the best visual jokes that i have ever seen in my life
I’ve never watched more than a few episodes of this show, but I love this
You’d think he’d of looked up how to spell that in his encyclopedia.

As an instructor I have done this more than once. Sometimes your brain just turns off and you can’t spell even the simplest words.
At this point I thought it’s the mother
And that was how I met your mother
Moist.
And kids, that’s How I Met my Idiot Professor
What show is this?
I taught at the college level before I was confident spelling college
What kind of profesir doesn’t even know how to spell their job title?
First 4-5 season were incredible
That guy at times in the front reminds me of Randall Park
Literally watching this episode right now.
I love that they used “Who gives a fuck about an Oxford comma” for this scene. Was so good
I fucking loved this show! I wish they would go redo the ending.
I’ve rewatched How I Met Your Mother three times already, and it’s still good.
Cook Pu?

Still a narcissist and weirdo character
That student gets an extra 20%
She’s cute
First job after college I could remember how to spell bachelor’s degree on the application. I didn’t major in English, in my defense
Excuse my ignorance, but what show is this clip from?
