That guitar swap is so fucking smooth. I love coming back and watching it from time to time. Rene Martinez was an all-star.
I’d totally forgot about this song but it used to be one of my favorites. One of my favorite things about live versions is the solos, they usually get longer and more fun live.
Is he the one that shits his britches like its going outta style?
To keep singing while doing that swap is already incredible, but to actually hit that first note after the switch in time is out of this world. It’s great to see professionals at work

The single greatest piece to improvise Rock piano to. The snappy rhythm is glorious! Rhythm? I don’t know all this music terminology, just cool to smash keys with!
If you look really closely you can hear the guitar playing just before he plays the new one. A bit of additional recording going on there but still impressive.
