At the beginning you black out after touching the artifact.
You wake up in the wagon.
You go through the entire scripted event except there is no dragon and you are executed.
Then you wake back up in the mine and create your character and starfield begins
Something that still bothers me so much about Starfield is the lack of WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) looting. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, and Fallout 4 all had WYSIWYG looting. Now all the sudden they change that? Is that an awesome piece of armor on a space pirate? Nah it’s a medkit and pistol. It bothered me constantly in the game. I really wish more people had made a stink about this because they will take note for the next ES6 and carry on with random loot tables, breaking yet another thing that makes the games fun.
