“I’ve seen things, you people wouldn’t believe, hmmm.
… attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I’ve watched see Beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate.
All those moments, will be lost in time like tears in rain…”
cant really say starfield’s npcs are a shock to me. Bethesda never did have a great track record for believable person. Probably why the best character is a damn robot. But The interactions have been pretty good so far. Ive gotta say, Ive enjoyed the game. Its a slow pace compared to the fallout games or skyrim. But for players used to Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen gameplay, you’ll feel right at home once you get a hang on the control scheme
I kind of had a feeling this might be a thing when it seemed like the default eye settings in character creation occasionally looked a bit cross-eyed. Didn’t exactly inspire confidence lol.
Something I find odd is how all non-hostile NPCs always turn their head to you when you are close, it almost feel like they are watching me like I am in The Truman Show
It’s honestly so funny how Bethesda just can’t stop making robotic, bizarre NPCs. Every one of their games has it. It’s been like 17 years since Oblivion and the NPCs are still hilariously wooden and inhuman. It’s like they do it on purpose now.
My face is tired.

wasn’t this also a thing with the last mass effect game before they patched it.

It’s a AAA game, you need to lower your standards.
I can’t wait for dunkey’s video on this
Looks like Troy Barnes when he met LeVar Burton.

Don’t worry. Mods will turn those npcs into K-pop models.
Yes but it isn’t a Bethesda game unless when you make an npc happy they suddenly contort into a serial killer grin while dead-eyed staring at you
apparently there’s a crack epidemic in the Starfield universe.
โdo you get to the omega-9 district very often? what am i saying, of course you dont.โ
They know what players do to npc’s after a quicksave. Pure terror.
