Honestly, despite the non-canon promotional status of these, I’m pretty excited. A good mix of old and new characters (including Trip, as the first Enterprise actor to return in the modern era – hopefully not the last), a nice nod to TAS’ art style, and some good writers involved with this. As someone whose favorite modern Star Trek is Prodigy, the fact that Aaron Waltke’s writing one of these (the 4th episode) has me pretty excited, since he wrote 2 of my top 5 episodes of that show.
I found a YouTuber once who had made Star Trek parody shorts that looked exactly like the original animated series style; I wonder if that person is involved at all.
I hope you managed to contact the people who created those TNG: The Animated Series and Voyager: The Animated Series videos for this; they nailed the style so well!
Mostly only interested in the inevitable Red Letter Media about them.
Calling them promotional spots seems pretty clinical

OK, this looks fun but seriously, bring back Short Treks.
