President Reagan askd the three former presidents to attend because the Secret Service said that it was too dangerous for Reagan attend…given the fact that traitors in the Egyptian army just killed their own president.
Hard to say which did the most damage to the US. Nixon undermined trust in government. Ford failed to hold him accountable. Regan started us on the trickle-down conservatism that has largely ruined our economy. Carter was ineffectual enough to allow Regan in the door.
I never thought we could find worse until GWB and Trump.
