It’s not like the Marines can even read this sign anyway…
I’m not sure any country actually supports the use of nuclear weapons, except maybe North Korea. I wonder if these people understand the concept of mutually assured destruction.
“Hi, resident of Oslo. They do not let me drive the boat.”
LOL. One person posts a sign. It’s not representative of the population at large. Consider, if Norway left NATO they could close their ports to US vessels and never need to worry about another US warship conducting a port visit. Since they haven’t done this I think it’s safe to say that this sentiment isn’t shared by the majority of Norwegians.
EDIT: As a side note, I’d like to visit Norway someday. I have a coworker who is from Norway. From the stories he tells and from what I’ve read It sounds like an amazing country. The only thing is the pickled herring. Not sure I can get on board with that
Surely this is the opinion of a minority.
Stupidest possible take
“Longest record if war crime” may want to double check that one
I’ve seen less polite signs posted about Americans in America.
“…World’s longest record of war crimes”
Have they talked to Russia yet? China? I mean we do some freaky shit now and then but we don’t actively do it every day and when called out on it double down and commit more crimes.
Bet a Russian put that in there
This reminds me of when we anchored off of, I want to say Greece (my memory is a bit foggy). We were there in 99-2000 for being called upon during the Kosovo conflict. Anyhow, we were there for about 4 days for a little R&R for the crew and for the ship to replenish. Anyway, there were small boats that went back and forth between the carrier and the pier. I recall getting off the boat and being greeted by lots of chalk written on the pier decks basically saying that we weren’t welcome there. Not exactly the best feeling to have when you’re a 19-20yo. That feeling stuck to me for a long time. Funny thing was, they said we weren’t welcome but they sure welcomed the American dollar.
Almost certainly created and posted by Russian shills/agents.
This is a fringe opinion in Norway. feel free to completely ignore it.
Support for NATO membership is at 95.6% this year.

Hey America! You’re the problem! Because if you disarm then China and Russia will too!
Which is why we joined NATO at its inception. Because the only threat is you.
Oh darn. Anyway.
Not sure how well those words will fend of the russians… Warships and nuclear missiles work a little better
“American Marine soldier” lmaooo im sure the marines got a kick outta that
Pretty dumb sign tbh
ITT: A sign posted on a light pole? This surely indicates popular Norwegian opinion, for how else could this sign have appeared. 🙄
I’m Norwegian and I scoff at this degenerate heresy.
Show these fuckers pictures of Ukrainian [cities in ruins.](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/134hu7j/recent_photo_from_a_ukrainian_drone_marinka_was_a/) Reduced [to dust](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/12hct55/this_was_once_the_city_of_maryinka_in_the_donetsk/). This is a country with no security guarantees, and used to be a weak military power.
A strong military is deterrence.
A weak military is provocative!
The sailors should tell the locals they’re really from the Gerald R. Fjord.
Russians decided to go old school I see.
Like any Navy squid on a carrier has any say in where they dock
Person that posted that? ivan totally-not-a-spy.
That’s some Russian propaganda there
Yeah because E3 Jenkins can say the ship has to leave.
“You are increasing the risk of nuclear war”
… says the people who **supplied heavy water to the Nazis**
* funded by the Putina party of Norway (definitely not Russia!!!)
