Somewhere in 2070, one Friends fanatic did whatever they had to because they weren’t about to lose their ability to rewatch it for a thousandth time because it was taken off one of the other 10,000 streaming platforms and moved to Hulu.
LG was founded in 1958. So that’s 65 years ago. 2070 is 47 years away. Pretty good chance they will still be around considering how long they already have been. There’s plenty of older companies that are still around and will definitely still be by 2070.
It’s because January 2020 they figured the problem would be solved. So they made a rolling window that wrapped back around to 1970. I was helping fix some of the systems in the late 90’s.
Sorry to be boring here.
But for computers, time is just counting up from zero, there are no months etc..
So if there is information missing and the time value is 0 (dependent on programming language it can also be null, but appears to be 0 here).
So, when the value is 0, it happens to be at that exact date…

Somewhere in 2070, one Friends fanatic did whatever they had to because they weren’t about to lose their ability to rewatch it for a thousandth time because it was taken off one of the other 10,000 streaming platforms and moved to Hulu.
I thought it was 1970 before I reat the title. Does that make me old?
1970
They’re trying to communicate with you, check the watch history to see what the future has in store for humanity

Be careful they are going to spoil are your favourite shows for you
It was called Lucky Goldstar in 1970.
No need to explain the punchline in the title, we got it
Imagine traveling into the future but all you can do to communicate with the past is register a tv.
1870.

Unix time
South Korea itself would fall before LG ceases to exist, Samsung being the last.
2070 is actually closer to us than 1970
We see this at work all the time. LGs get a lot of equipment sent back from the future. Especially from the 2070s.
Damn you’re about to be the guy who finds out about time travel.

Time to invest?
I can’t believe still exists
Go long on LG options
Pffft, LG is the *only* company in 2070.
How do you know it’s not from 1970, in which case having an LG TV and a streaming service is almost 50 years advanced technology?
1970
2070 never happened yet that’s impossible
1970.
…and this is why we should always write a four-digit year!
Not using the unambiguous YYYY-MM-DD format is a different issue…
Marty mcfly
I can’t believe Hulu exists in 2070
Plot twist: it’s a time traveler from 3070.
You do know that time began in 1970, right?
Just future you trying to get in and watch the hulurama!
Who wants to tell him?
That’s just the Y2K bug from 1970.
Am i the only one here that doesn’t know what hulu is
Might be 2170. Or 2370. Never can tell with these dang time travelers.
It’s 1970. You’re a big herp and derp.
1970 my man…

What is hulu, ser?
Well that’s disturbing
GREAT SCOTT!!! It’s Doc Brown
It’s probably the spirit of Art Bell.
**19**70
1970 linux bug.. i guess makes sense on the code base of an lg tv.
There’s also 20 or more months in the future? Cool!
Time to invest in LG.
