Remy Zero – Save Me song fits perfectly in the show
One of my favorite shows of all time. I almost missed a date to see the series finale.
I need to finish the show. I’ve watched until close to the end of season 3 and I always had fun watching this. This show feels so different from today’s superhero shows or even the superhero shows from 10 years ago.
This show had potential

Dang, this was weird for me. Objectively, it’s interesting how many shots they reused throughout the 10 seasons. Subjectively, I used to love this show and crush pretty hard on Chloe, and it feels weird knowing Allison Mack was in a sex cult and that she branded other women. Really sours me on ever revisiting the show.
This is still probably the best overall Superman origin story. Even with the shitty special effects this show told some GREAT superman stories and it was on for TEN seasons. I cant believe no one has figured out how to make a great superman movie yet.

Weird thing to post, though admittedly, the nostalgia hits *extremely* hard with this one.
When this aired I was a teenager unsure of whether I was really gay. The first episode of this show cemented it for me.
I’m literally on my way right now to a convention where Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, and Kristin Kreuk are doing a Smallville panel. What a coincidence!
Love the show and the song rewatched the whole show multiple times and it has the Best Lois Lane After Teri Hatcher in Lois & Clark.

I think smallville just made it to hbomax.. or at least last night was the first time I noticed it. Loved the series, might rewatch it sometime!
Didn’t realize Jenson Ackles had a decent enough stint to pop up in the credits for a season, i have zero memory of him being in the show.
This show sucked me in so much. Those first 4 seasons were unbeatable. What was great for me is that the characters’ “technical” ages in this show followed my age as well– they were freshman in season 1 (2001) and so was I. It was such a good show.

I still want Rosenbaum as a movie Lex. No one has played him better. He was a sympathetic villain. Instead the movies are fine with 2 real estate villains that surround themselves with idiots, or the last one that was just unhinged and creepy.
I hope the animated show they wanna do actually gets made

This show along with JL and JLU animated series got me interested in superheroes, I remember leaving school quickly every day because I would miss a new episode lmao.
As the years go, the scenes gets more and more ridiciulous…
I loved and hated that show.
Some episodes were super elite
But lot of bad and average episodes.
That scene of Lana jumping in terror from CGI explosion is so hilarious.
