I can see why they deleted this cameo.

The fake real steinbrenner is so much better than the real fake steinbrenner.
The final scene actually isn’t so bad. Would have been cute if they could have reshot the setups.
It was years later that I learned the character was based on a real person.
Watching this would have made no sense to anyone who didn’t recognise him. Is it normal for people in America to recognise the faces of owners of baseball teams?
