If these places paid living wages and demonstrated basic decency and respect to its employees then perhaps more people would show up for their shifts. Oh the corporate pigs aren’t happy with the peons not showing up? Awwww….
Except fast food places have always had their top hiring quality as ‘Will show up on time for shit’. Why else do they always ask if you have a reliable car?
Started a job as a Wheel and Tyre technician on today and that was the 1st thing they asked me in the interview. “If we offered you the position would you actually show up for work?”.
I spy with my little eye a business model I wish would die.
Can’t afford to pay a decent wage, offer benefits, or PTO? Maybe you aren’t equipped to run a business! Maybe you should open a cafe and cook and serve the food yourself instead of franchising and depending on poverty to fuel your work staff?
Must be one hell of an interview…
No one in South Dallas would qualify! Lol
Who would want to work for someone like that? I think his attitude has more to do with his lack of staff then people’s work ethic.
Yeah no that’s not gonna work
Sentiment is true though, my employees who don’t show up to work are always the ones who complain about having no money.
My buddy used to manage a kentacohut, it was terrible. The place was constantly short staffed, and it was at a mall so it was constantly busy.
Looks like they are really running out of minwage slaves
Maybe if the employees had some sort of incentive, like decent pay…or benefits…i know, its laughable to expect…but just saying lol
standards are getting kinda low these days.
Sounds like a great employer.
Shut it down. Nobody wants to be treated like crap for min. wage
$2.50 an hour
How do they not understand that putting this on the sign shows the world they are a place no one would want to work?
Asking too much

If they’ll put that on the sign, imagine what they’ll say to your face on their clock. Bleh
Restaurants that give no PTO to employees mad that employees won’t come in sick to make peoples food. Our priorities are so ass backwards.
Not filling that position anytime soon
Still after all these years can’t get over the fact the colonels tie looks like a stick body and I can’t un-see it.
Fully automating this type of things is the answer. No human should be required to do something so easily mechanized.
Except fast food places have always had their top hiring quality as ‘Will show up on time for shit’. Why else do they always ask if you have a reliable car?
Pretty low bar. Matches their food.
There seems to be a segment of these entitled business owners who think they will shame their way out of this. Sad.
Being insulting is an odd advertising twist
My turf! Inwood and Clarendon I think?
If your employees keep not showing up, perhaps the issue isn’t the employees.
Start paying 25/hr. You won’t be able to keep them out. You’ll get someone with a PhD in fry cookery.
My wife and I own a company. We are trying to hire at $18/hour. We have had the last 3 people we hired never show up on the first day. No idea why.

Citi Trendz!!
I always show up. Always a little bit late tho.
You guys are acting like fast food should pay and have benefits like factory work…
Just get a factory job.

oh nice Mcdonalds colab
Why wouldn’t they have started there? Could have saved a lot of effort on signage.
This Arby’s near where I work had “Arby’s. We have the jobs.” It gave me a pretty good laugh.
