I still like dd/mm/yyyy because I’m more likely to know what year and month it is, so generally I’m asking the date to know what dd is. So, the day is more important to me.
Well, if you don’t release anything later than the 12th of any month, you can use 1/1/2023, 2/2/2023, 3/3/2023, etc… and it won’t matter the date format 😛
hi, american here, we use MM/DD/YYYY so we go through time faster, 3/7/2022 goes ahead by a day everywhere else, but a month here. think “hyperbolic time chamber” from DBZ /s
I can concede on a globally standardized date format and relearn to read/write dates… but then we also must all agree that “1,000” is one thousand and “1.000” is one with 3 decimal points of precision.
When the fuck did we double the number of months?
That’s how we write dates in freedom land. *eagle screech*
Seconds: Minutes:Hours:Days: Months:years
WHY RUIN THE ORDER?
That date system is utterly idiotic
Barbaric, that’s what it is.
That’s the 3rd of Decembruary bro.
Last I checked I lived in Europe not America. What the hell is going on 🤦🏼♂️
Remember folks when watching lord of the rings trilogi start whit the two towers then fellowship of the rings and then end whit return of the king.
Not an American, but in my country we use the American date system too.
I am curious, do most of the Europeans say March 24th 2023 or 24th of March 2023?
Like, why is that a thing?
just imagine the confusion if the date would be 3.8.2023
As an American, I had to read the comments to know why you were sad… sorry you have to wait so much longer

You’re right, capcom is a Japanese company (the people making this remake) the date should be 2023.3.24 like how it’s done in japan.
I love the way we format our dates for the sole reason it makes other people unnecessarily upset.
Ah, yes, good old 3rd of Doubledecember
Wait this is only an American format?
I mean to is it makes sense as we pretty say March 24th, its slightly uncommon for us to say the 24th of March cause adding those two extra words.
Why I always write dates like: 24 March 2023. No commas, doesn’t confuse Americans, doesn’t trigger Europeans.
yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM:SS
this is 24 month format

so 03.24.2023 is 03.12.2023
Why would we use barbaric 24.3.2023 or 3.24.2023 when we could use glorious 令和5年3月24日?
Imagine being genuinely upset about how people format dating. Holy shit, go outside people.
/r/ISO8601 is the only logical answer!

You have to be pretty autistic to look at this and think there was 24 months.
2023-03-24 or bust. Fuck all these other bullshit date formats.

First world problem
Can we normalise writing the month as a word instead?
24/MAR/2023
America, FUCK YEAH
Just spell the name of the month, all confusion is gone.
All dates should be yyyy/mm/dd as there is no way to misinterpret regardless of your or their regional norms.
At least you can distinguish day and month here.
The real confusion starts when they state 12/1/2023.
This is the dumbest thing to be upset about.
It’s psychopathic how angry y’all are getting about this.
In the grand scheme of things this is so fucking miniscule. And literally takes about 5 seconds for any confusion to be cleared up.
Are y’all learning how we write dates for the first time?
What game was this for?
[This is America](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VYOjWnS4cMY/maxresdefault.jpg)

Why?, I am from America and I question, Why make you sad??, the game is out in One Year, 3/24/2023
Why would this make you sad? You know how to switch the date around mentally, right? This date isn’t even ambiguous.
We need to start enforcing the use of ISO 6801.
YYYY-MM-DD is the far superior format in every way.
