In the summer of ’76 and ’77, I used to see this show every day, multiple times. I was not actually watching the show, but from certain areas of the park in Aurora, Ohio, I could see it going on. I was responsible for keeping the freezers at the ice cream carts full of tasty frozen treats at Sea World of Ohio both of those summers. I lived close enough to the park that I could ride my bicycle to work.
Two of my sisters worked there before me. One of them ended up going full time with Sea World and was transferred to Orlando to help open up Sea World Orlando. My parents would snowbird down to Florida in the winters from Ohio with their motorhome, and mom would work at Sea World while dad worked at the campground.
Should not htey be saving the world or somethng?
Aquaman’s clearly got the advantage down there.
Then for old school uncool, the Baywatch show in the 90s had a ski boat with steering failure jump into the stands and squish a bunch of people.
Thought this was the DCEU reboot.
Who are the two on the right in the second tier?
I can recognize Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Robin, Batman, Superman, Aquaman and the Flash… But who are princess green tights and relatively-normally-dressed-woman?
Which character is standing on aquaman and the flash’s shoulders?
Was there 2 separate Batman’s in the 70s?
Where are the Go-Go’s?
They should bring this back!
Sometimes, for fun, before the show, the men and women performers would swap costumes. Amid all of the water spray, no one ever noticed. /s
