Alastair Sim or George C. Scott versions. That’s all we need.
Alastair Sim #1. Muppets, a close #2 (get rid of that stupid song in the middle, I’ll consider moving it to #1). I’m ok with another remake, I’ll take a look.
I don’t get why another version would make people angry. We have *long* passed the point of no return. This will be retold forever. And it’s fun to compare them.
This already looks better than the 2009 animated one so, why not?
They really ought to have made a live-action tv series out of this, and maybe hired a great talent like McKellen or something. Sorry for being crabby, this doesn’t look great I think, though I’ve been wrong before so who knows? Might have to watch it to know for sure.
