These long running slasher franchises don’t have a good track record when they tackle New York. But as long as they don’t spend 50% of the movie on a boat I think we’re in for a good time.
>In a city of millions, no one can hear you scream.
>Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
This has me much more interested in this movie than I was two minutes ago. Was not a huge fan of Scream 5 but this doesn’t seem to have the same vibe whatsoever.
Also, I’m guessing that Ghostface has already killed someone at this point in the movie and the dude in the blue button up is some sort of bodyguard for these guys? Which would explain why they’d be on a subway on Halloween?
I love that one person on the train is dressed as Samara Weavings character from ready or not when Samara is in this and it’s directed by the same guys.
Looks fun, though I’m disappointed a Halloween set film (which is a first for this series… think every one of them took place in spring or summer) is releasing in March.
Never thought *Ghostface Takes Manhattan* could work, but I’m ready after how good 2022 (*5cream?* *Scream5?*) was! ~~Now gimme a Broadway number kill or me no want /s~~
I will make the same — probably hopeless — plea that I made coming out of 5cream: Please do something unique with the structure this time. I love the franchise to death and think it ranges from “legitimately great” to “campy fun” at worst. But we’ve had 5 movies now of the same whodunnit, third act reveal & monologue shtick.
Give me a second act unmasking! Give more more than two accomplices! Give me dramatic irony where the audience knows the killer’s identity before the characters do! Just give me something I haven’t seen before in a Scream movie.

I’m in because its Scream and I love Scream, but god damn I am IN IN on that. That teaser got my hyped.

In theatres March 10th.

Now that’s a cool teaser, really looking foward to this, V was surprisingly really damn good.

Also, 0:20, is that a Babadook costume?
I have my eyes on Josh and Dermot as killer possibilities. As well as Devyn Nekoda and Jack Champion
God I love that this franchise is still going
Scream is one of the few franchises were every entry is good.
This is a quick turnaround from the last one. Is that one worth checking out?

Was worried the franchise would seem lost in New York, but this new batch is taking Manhattan with a vengeance!
Well that’s me hyped.
I will miss Neve Campbell though.
I thought it’s the 3rd of October since I’m in Europe, but it’s March 10th. Yey! didn’t see that coming.
Favorite mystery killer franchise. More excited for this than I was for S5 although I did enjoy the film. 3 > 1 > 5 > 2 > 4

Samara Weaving and Jenna Ortega? I’m in.

Ghostface Takes Manhattan?
I think it’s a rule that the next one be in space.
I lived in New York for 6 years. Every time I got on a train this is how I felt. This is not horror. It’s a documentary.
I like the tone they seem to be going for here.
It’s more sinister and dark.
Honestly amazing how someone keeps making and selling Ghostface costumes considering how popular it is with *serial killers*.
Please utilize Josh Segarra properly and don’t waste him!
How is it Scream 6? They just released Scream /s
anyone who’s a new jenna ortega fan after the success of wednesday, i highly recommend ti west’s “X”
really good film and jenna is great in it
