This leaked a week or two ago from the NYCC panel but it’s nice to have it in high quality on the official channel.
I was really hoping that Anamanaguchi would do the opening but, still, Necry Talkie did an amazing job. The Nyan Cat vibe fits perfectly with the aesthetic of the series.
I’m surprised how after years of associating Scott Pilgrim with the movie soundtrack or the games chiptune music, I can hear an anime opening and still think “oh yeah this totally fits”
How on earth did they get the star-studded cast back from the movie??

Seeing a full-blown anime opening featuring the names of American live action stars is a very odd experience lol
But this matches exactly the vibes I was expecting, really looking forward to this.
