If this was modern SNL Farley wouldn’t even be looking at the person he’s grabbing.
I don’t think modern SNL is total garbage, it’s got some good stuff sometimes. But watching 80s 90s and even some early 2000s SNL, you really notice how much they just don’t look at eachother in the current stuff. So obviously looking off stage at cue cards. Plus just single wide one camera shots most of the the time.
Pretty sure this specific skit is one of the pre filmed ones, but you get what I mean.

Chris Farley was so great at physical comedy. One of the funniest people to ever be on SNL. Rest in peace, we miss you dude.

What I wouldn’t give to live in a world where Chris Farley and John Candy got to do a few films together. I feel like they would have been a natural match and made some of the funniest movies of all time.
I still say “what??” like he does here whenever someone says something weird or that I don’t like.
I always lose it at “SHUT YOUR YAP!”……<smack>…..It’s horrible but there’s just something so perfectly Farley about it.
