My girlfriend is playing it and I honestly just love watching her play this game. It’s super entertaining. Seems similar to the older game but in a good way. It’s for sure worth checking out.

I played the first game as sam b and smashed stuff with a giant hammer, to bad you cant play as him in dead island 2.
granted I havent played this game in years, but I thought they all got infected and died at the end of riptide

Man, I loved Dead Island and always felt alone on that hill. I also loved Dying Light.
I remember seeing gameplay of Dead Island 2 waaaaaay back in the day before it was basically cancelled. The devs playing the game were super thrilled they were able to get the real Hollywood sign in the game word because it was expensive. Lmao
The game at that point seemed like it was gonna be a cash grab, randomly generated missions and an endless sandbox story with no real end.
When I heard Dead Island 2 was coming back, I had no faith at all and didn’t even bother giving it a chance. I didn’t watch any trailers besides what I saw in GameStop, which looked fun and goofy but that’s what trailers are meant to be to draw your attention.
I’m so thrilled that so many people suddenly love Dead Island 2. I can’t wait to look into it more now and possibly pick it up the next time I can afford it!

The character models look really good. I was surprised.
I wasn’t very excited about his new voice actor, something about hearing Chamillionaire do work with the songs in the older games and now nothing in the new one sucks (unless they hid his music ingame then somebody spoil it and leak that location)

Septum piercings are the worst thing I’ve ever seen. They legitimately make everyone look worse. I’ve absolutely hated them ever since they gained their little bit of popularity amongst the neo-hippie crowd.
