I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
Roy is one of the most thought-provoking characters I’ve ever run across in cinema. What does it mean to be human? Then you start to ask “what should that look like in my life?” There are so many people out there who might as well be replicants. They’re just not really developed into thinking people with complex motivations, nuanced thoughts or a real identity outside of doing whatever social media or their news tell them to be. But Roy had his own thoughts, fears and desires, he was able to get a crew together, and he was more of a human than most humans in the end. I dont know what takeaway I was supposed to get from the movie, but Roy has made me think about those things a lot.
Looks like a repost. I’ve seen this image 1 time.

Quite an experience to live in fear, isn’t it? That’s what it is to be a slave.
