Met Russ a few times.. my younger brother is a former South Sydney Rabbitohs player. Nice dude Russ, made my family and i feel welcome. If you needed anything (my family live in the country approx. 5hrs away from Sydney) he would help us out, mostly around accommodation and transport to and from my brothers games. Without going into too much detail, Russ loves a party and “gettin on it” with the boys lol to say the least.
Russell Crowe in LA Confidential is one of the few times you watch an actor in his first big role and you know that dude was gonna be a star. They set that movie up to be kind’ve a showcase for Guy Pearce, and he’s really good, but Crow outshines him any time he’s on the screen. Then he did The Insider with Michael Mann and that solidified it for me.
Russell Crowe gave me the finger when I was about 10 years old. He was filming The Insider in downtown Louisville KY and I looked at him through a window across the alleyway (he was maybe 30 ft from me). He looked me square in the eye and flipped me off
Gonna be alone in this one, but I liked his Javert in Les Mis. Not being the best singer created tension and space. The character felt isolated, and I think that’s one place where musicals struggle generally because of the medium.
Oh snap, the dude with the tugboat who fights around the world!

Is he slowly turning into Ray Winstone?
Oh my god it’s Russell Crowe!
How the hell is master and commander not on there !!!!
Master and Commander is criminally underrated. The books are even better
“Today, I play roles like ‘Fat American road rager,’ ‘Fat Greek god with a funny accent,’ and ‘Fat Italian priest with a funny accent.'”
I’m not sure how you go from beautiful mind to the popes exorcist, but more power to the guy lmao
I haven’t seen anyone mention the movie A Good Year.
Not an epic or great movie but an easy watch, feel good, date night type of movie that still works for me.
All these great movies and then Thor…
lol fart.
Had to click the link just to see if that fat bearded man in the thumbnail was actually Russell Crowe. It was, and now I feel old.

I’m assuming a lot of free pizza was involved
Is Russel Crowe turning into Guillermo Del Toro?
Romper Stomper
Did he talk about romper stomper?
He was great as Roger Ailes.
Russel Crowe peaked with gladiator imo.
