Me in dragon age origins either romancing morrigan as a male warrior and making Alastair king or romancing Alastair as a female mage and keeping him a grey warden. EVERY TIME.
When it comes to Skyrim for me, I love all the flashy spells as a mage. I get so much enjoyment out of dual wielding swords/axes. It’s because of these reasons that I find playing a stealth archer so rewarding.
To be fair i actually am doing something SLIGHTLY new on my current Oblivion playthrough. Rather than just go straight Strength and Endurance and ignore everything else as a Warrior build like i historically have, I’m going Strength, Endurance, AND Willpower/Intelligence as a Paladin build 😛
Im playing Guardians of the Galaxy again and trying to make different decisions. I still did Stormriders because its hilarious but I have already seen a new mission with tons of new hilarious dialog and I haven’t even paid my fine yet.
I recently played GTAV again and I had to resist every single instinct in my body to pick killing Trevor over the death wish ending. Like, it was legitimately difficult for me to put the murder on a cannibalistic rapey yokel, and I felt bad about it. Wtf.
Grandmaster ursine, Ciri becomes a Witcher, Yen being the love of my life, Emhyr wins the war and cerys becomes the skellige Queen. Anything else is unacceptable
Me, when Elden Ring released: “This time I’ll try something other than Faith builds, I’m done cosplaying Zeus. Wait, there’s DRAGON stuff now? Ah shit, here we go again…”
I heard that giving your character a backstory can help with that. Not sure first hand since I go for the other kind of RPG, but imagine playing skyrim as a guy arrested for tax fraud
Deus Ex (2000) is a game where there’s literally HUNDREDS of ways to play the game yet I still play as the same stealth-hacker build
I’ll be twenty hours into Skyrim before I realise I’m doing this. Every. Damn. Time.
Stealth archer?
Stealth archer.
I find the accuracy here unsettling.
comfort yourself by claiming you’ll do another play through and do the other options… only to never replay the darn thing again.
Male Paragon Soldier Shepard with Colonist Sole Survivor, romancing Tali again.
Someday, I will finally do my renegade femshep run. But not today.
I mean… if it was fun 9 times it can’t hurt doing it for a 10th 🤷
I try to do different things, but then I realize yet again why I did things a certain way the first time.

Hey! Sometimes I choose slightly different dialogue options. As long as they aren’t too mean.
I cannot make myself go Renegade in ME.
Look, School of the Bear has the only good looking Witcher armor. Sorry.
Me playing Mass Effect for 10+ time

…
Ah shit I did it again.
Blade an sorcery be like:
No matter how many times I tell myself I’m picking Triss this playthrough, I end up with Yen.
the edgiest thing I do is maybe change the romance option and pick the other of the two good factions to side with or something like that
I don’t do sword & board in *every* game.
I will punch that reporter every time.
Hey stop calling me out dammit

The same thing but slightly more efficiently
It’s me.
We’re all here just trying to cope with sucky reality.

I mean, when you play South Park the stick of truth there isn’t much else you can do on your 47th save file.
I have problems role playing a jerk.
1. Play good
2. Play evil
3. Play good again to set everything right again
Every time I play fallout 4 im like, “i gonna side with someone new this time!” But then i always end up with the brotherhood of bitches
I can’t seem to escape stealth, thievery, and archery in Skyrim no matter how much I tell myself to try magic focused builds for ONCE.
Grandmaster ursine, Ciri becomes a Witcher, Yen being the love of my life, Emhyr wins the war and cerys becomes the skellige Queen. Anything else is unacceptable
Starting any DS game with claymore
Me, when Elden Ring released: “This time I’ll try something other than Faith builds, I’m done cosplaying Zeus. Wait, there’s DRAGON stuff now? Ah shit, here we go again…”
Melee playthrough on Terraria 🙂
Do the same thing but do it better
I heard that giving your character a backstory can help with that. Not sure first hand since I go for the other kind of RPG, but imagine playing skyrim as a guy arrested for tax fraud
Sweet they have multiple classes, customizable species, magic never seen in a video game, perfect! White dude with a sword for me sir
what do you mean i cant be paragon all nice guy in Mass effect for the 75th time
Look bruh, you leave me and my 12th stealth archer alone.
Witcher 2 is probably the only game I’ve played two totally different ways.
I’m role-playing as me in every one of the several dozen rpgs I’ve played.
I will join the imperials again and again!
Stealth Archer. Bold choice. Let’s see if it pays off.
