Ron Galella (paparazzo) wearing a helmet while photographing Marlon Brando, 1974. Brando reportedly sucker punched Galella on a previous occasion and broke his lower jaw, knocking out 5 of his teeth.

Deserved it, no?
OG Chad right there.
“Sucker” puch according to the sucker.
Mess with the father of Superman and you get what you get
I’da put that fat whackado in the ground. Brando was a self indulgent pig that just so happened to be one of the greatest actors of the 20th century.
Fucking parasites.
They deserved each other
And Brando’s face seems to suggest if he just took that helmet off, he’d do it a second time.
5 teeth is a lot of teeth to lose for willingly acting like a parasite. Yikes.
Brando may have been a bit of a nutjob, but I dig his swag in this picture.
And I am supposed to feel sorry for a cockroach with a camera that refuses to honor the word “NO”.
Hit ‘‘em again for good measure. These guys are parasites
In all fairness, a football helmet wouldn’t really protect you from an uppercut.
5 “teeth”. Yeah ok
I feel like this should be a risk of the job. You want to harass and stalk and bother people for a “job” then those people should 100% be allowed to retaliate with no consequences, within reason. No reason someone being followed and irritated constantly with cameras and shit in their face shouldn’t be allowed to swing at one of the leeches.
Brando was a notorious stinker. Check out the Lil Stinkers podcast ep on him
Yes they are celebrities and yes they do love the spot light, but they are also people that may want to step out to be a little human once in a while. They do not need a camera in their face every time they go to the club or to take a shit.
Reposted so many times but each time I find it cool.
Brando just exudes manliness.
He wasn’t sucker punched, the guy is paparazzi and provoked Brando
Looks like he borrowed Super Dave’s helmet
He must’ve had a mean right. He was a bit stocky and not very tall so he might have been able to exert some power if he got into a good posture.
Is this the same clown who stalked Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis?

What a man 🩶
Glad to hear about his teeth.
Like a lot of people in the 1970s, Ron Galella forgot that in the late 1940s Brando, while preparing to play Stanley Kowalski in *A Streetcar Named Desire* on Broadway, trained with professional boxers at Stillman’s Gym in NYC. He *knew* how to throw a hard left hook at close range. In the early 1970s, Brando was still pretty fit, and Galella was pretty much a public nuisance.
Safe to assume the person who took this photo was also wearing headgear.
What an actor🙏
Is he wearing a velour jacket over a turtleneck? Because damn is it stylish.
Brando is the coolest there ever was and ever will be
