I’m so sad for Jake Lloyd. He really experienced great difficulty with bullying after Star Wars. He was just a little baby, and he had to experience more negativity in a year than the rest of us will in a lifetime. He developed mental health issues, and has had trouble with the law in his older years.
It’s a shame because I loved seeing him in movies as a kid around the same age. I always thought he did such a great job. One of my favorite movie moments of all time is in Jingle All The Way when he’s dressed in Sinbad’s mailman uniform, and cheers Arnold’s character with a little bit of slur, “He’s to *you*, “***dad***.”
Strong in the Turbo Man, this family is.
