I never understood why they set up rick to hate citadel. In all other instances he is the archetype rick but when it comes to citadel he hates it? He is like a crooked dude with a heart of gold and does one thing right?
It’s funny, the title cards for the season promos, in recent years, has actually shown off a recurring theme for the season.
Season 4’s promos had half of Rick and half of Morty connected together by their insides: Rick and Morty’s unhealthy relationship
Season 5’s promos had Rick (and Summer) apathetic to a portal to a hell dimension opening behind a terrified Morty: Symbolic of how Morty can and will never have a normal life
Not sure what to make of this season’s one, where the two are falling through what looks like some sort of cyber-simulation of their world (complete with the rest of the family as part of the simulation). I guess maybe how things don’t feel as real as they used to now that the Citadel has been destroyed and the CFC cracked wide open. I’m open to suggestions on this one.
Can’t wait for this, gonna rewatch all of it first.
Actually really excited for this after the season 5 finale.

Man. That sure was a big red spoiler for the next season at the end of this promo. I’m surprised they included a spoiler like that.
Oh man I’m getting a good vibe from s6.

Rick and Morty?
With a coherent trailer?
Ok, I’m in.
Wow, this has been up for 7 hours and not even 150 likes and only 11 comments. Are people over Rick and Morty?

***”Say goodbye to the Citadel, fellas!”***

Is it my imagination or does the narrator of the teaser sounds a little bit like Bane’s voice actor in Harley Quinn?
