Played this game on a Saturday evening while I was on shrooms in college , there was one point with a weird like rollypolly uni-cycle monster that freaked me out so bad I had to stop playing
Recently replayed this in VR, what a fun nostalgia trip that was, great game.

This was one of my first “grown up” games. I played so much of the multiplayer, and then Enemy Territory.
No game has better gun and reload sounds. RTCW is a masterpiece of gaming and will always be the first thing that comes to mind when someone says FPS.
We need a remaster of this
Holy shit blast from the past. I used to play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory nonstop when I was in middle school + early high school. I loved the sound the Thompson made but preferred the reload animation for the MP-40.
Brought back all my memories of fragging on vanilla and modded servers, Noquarter and Jaymod being the 2 mod types I remember the most. I miss trick jump servers and community dedicated servers. I miss stealing enemy disguises as the Covert Ops, or calling in artillery strikes as the Field Ops. The “PanzerNoobs” will forever be despised, and the sound of the Engineer landlines will forever be seared into my mind.
Nowadays the game would have all the modded content locked behind paywalls, and would feature a battle pass system, drip feeding content just enough to keep people interested.
Beach, Clanbase & wolftv feels like a lifetime ago.
First M-rated game. Still play it once every month or two.
Flamethrower blew my mind in this game.
I still have this game, some times I get bored of other games and start playing RTCW

Enemy Territory, best multiplayer of all time
still have the original box and game for pc with enemy territory. one of my all time favs.
We convinced our boss to let us install Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. We claimed it was for team building because we would play with guys in different departments.
We still play most days at lunch.
The mission with ghosts and dark souls were terrifying for the young me.
Plus I just finished New order and the last mission is enough to make a grown man cry.
Masterpiece.
Beach was the shit, I played so much of that map.
