It certainly looks better but not as drastic as I imagined.

Hmm…. Leon looks a bit older, a little less male model-ish. The cleft in his chin and the hardness of his eyes make the difference. This here is the veteran and survivor of the Racoon City disaster. It took a lot of effort to revive his hair care routine.
Ashley… you know, I’ve seen pictures of the model she’s based on, and she’s a pretty girl, but this shot really gives a different vibe. She does look older though, as I feel like the original game model was intended to be a younger teenager and they just slapped on “20” to appease westerners. Now she actually looks like a young woman in her twenties.
Ada actually looks east asian now lol. And again, older, closer to her late twenties or thirties. But she also looks very different, admittedly.
Louis… different. More pronounced facial hair, dark spots under the eyes, gives him a more rogueish air.
I seriously can’t believe that it’s been that long since the game was released. I truly feel old now.

**Leon:** I like his 2002 hairstyle better than the remake of it, but I do like both year’s faces for him as they stayed true to his 2002 face.
**Ada:** She looks less… sultry or tempestuous and enigmatic.
**Ashley:** She doesn’t have that “daddy’s precious angel and straight-laced student” look anymore, but I don’t think that was the intent anyway given her age.
**Luis:** He went from looking like your average coy/witty sleazeball to a possible maniac that can’t be trusted.
So is krauser gonna be in the remake
