My save bugged out one time and I couldnt get rid of it. There was this one mission on the country side where you had to steal a truck with a lady. In the cutscene at the end of the mission I would see the lady start a fight with the reward guy, he’d shoot her and she’d end up killing him. The cutscene would never end it and it just showed cj patiently waiting for his reward.

I recently went through a bunch of old boxes in storage at my folks’ place and found some [similar relics](https://i.imgur.com/vK03Pxe.jpg). Blast from the past for sure.
We were too poor to afford a printer and I was tired of having to dial into the internet to look up the cheat codes every time I played. So, eventually, I wrote them all down. I had probably 4 pages worth of codes. One day, my mother decided to just clean my room and poof, my codes were gone. I asked her if she threw them away and she claimed she didn’t. I never found the codes and to this day, she claims she never did anything with them.

My mother is a wonderful woman, but as a child who absolutely hated writing things, this crushed me lol
Then there were games like Clive Barker’s Jericho that required you to call a hotline for like $3-5/minute and they’d read off codes specific to your game license.
