Mount Tahoma for many of the locals. There’s a movement to rename it back to Tahoma from Rainier.

I will never forget the first time I actually saw Mt. Rainer. I was stationed at one of the military bases for most of Washington’s rainy season (several, several months).
Then on one non-rainy day it July at a shopping center … looked out the window … OMG, there’s a mountain ON TOP of a mountain range.

This awesome beauty takes my breath away every single time
On my trip home from Asia the flight went through Seattle and flying out of Seattle has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world you get so close to that damn mountain that it is amazing. I am not much of a get my phone out and take pictures guy but I sure did on this trip
