The dog belongs to a neighbor of a customer. I was given permission by the owner to pet him whenever I was in the neighborhood. He’s one of the happiest good boys I get to see during my days.
One of my neighbors had a golden retriever that decided he liked to take Amazon envelopes off of other peoples porches and bring them home.
They had to stop letting him out off leash until they got a fence.
When I was a kid we had a dog that spent all day while we were at school out roaming (country). Turns out he was stealing food from neighbors. He would wait while you were unloading groceries and run grab whatever was on top of the paper bad. We started finding bread, Doritos bags, lays bags, etc ripped open in our yard. Last straw was when he stole an entire chicken off of someone’s grill, we had to get a fence.
Not gonna lie, I was quickly scrolling and was convinced it said “Eats Pancakes” and was very confused why deliveries gave to be left there so I thought you had pancake deliveries set up for your dog.
I truly don’t understand Americans at times. Why are packages just left on porches in the first place?
Here in the UK letters are put through a slot in our front doors, and anything larger? They ring the bell and pass the items directly to us.
This helps minimise loss by theft. If nobody is in to collect the package, then they’ll leave a calling card which gives a few options, such as: try again, deliver to neighbour, hide in designated safe spot, give permission to leave on porch, or let us collect from nearest depot.
If I know in advance that I’ll be at work during the delivery window (couriers text your phone to say when they’ll be arriving) then I can pre-arrange one of the above choices.
As for letters, we don’t have mailboxes at the end of our driveways (unless living in a mansion), which means the courier has to deliver directly to the door. It’s their job after all, and on a cold morning they’re the ones already bundled up.
I can’t imagine at breakfast on a cold morning, having to get warm just to walk down my path to collect my mail!
I had a door with a mail slot. My dog at the time would eat paper goods, so it was like snack time for her! After a couple of missed bills, I replaced the door and put up a mailbox outside the door.
Aww..he got shamed
Watch out for your package, fella’s
Awww, but look at that face!
glad to know that my dog is not the only one lol
Box pls
That’s why you don’t cheap out on eyeliner/mascara…

Very strange. They have a sign to help leave packages for the dog to eat.
These people went through some trouble to get this sign made. I love it.
First they came for the package eating pooches and you did nothing….
I’m tired and misread the sign.
“Eats Pancakes. Leave deliveries here.” I wanted to be that dog with owners who get pancakes delivered for me…
Poor dog

It’s Friday and I am too tired
My parents have [a similar sign](https://imgur.com/gallery/A2cgbTe) on their gate.
“Ooh! Curbside!” – Porch Pirates
At least he doesn’t have to put up the same sign with a picture of his wife.

If they put half the effort of making this sign into training their dog, they would not have a package eating problem.
😂😂😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Spoiler alert: a porch pirate made that sign
